I have an honest question for flat-Earthers. Why do you think people became scientists? Why do you think they became planetary geologists, astronomers, etc. Why do you think they spent years in school and have dedicated their careers and lives to their field? Because they really like to trick people? Or maybe, just maybe, they had similar questions that you do. However, instead of sitting around watching YouTube videos and taking what some random person on the internet says as gospel, they actually did something constructive. They went out and learned the information for themselves, they sent up rockets and people to find out the truth, they built little probes to go out and see just what is up there. And upon finding out the truth, they then decided to hide it? They dedicated so much time to finding out the truth just so they could make fake pictures that show the opposite? Why? That makes no sense. Why would people who seek the truth sabotage their own efforts. Why would every single one of them do that every single time, for years and years? Those of you are on the fence and honestly want the truth, would you lie once you found it? If you shot up a rocket over Antarctica and found the supposed edge of the flat Earth, or if you found no edge and realized it is round, would you suddenly lie and say it's actually a triangle? Would you doctor your video footage once you found out? Would you edit any pictures you took just to mislead people into your new triangle Earth theory? No, you wouldn't. The same logic applies to the vast majority of scientists. Does the Government lie about things? Absoultely. Has NASA lied about things before? Absolutely. Does that mean every single scientist in the entire world lies about everything? Fuck no. That is a huge leap. Scientist want to find the truth, that is the whole point of being a scientist. And if not all of them are lying, then isn't it possible that the Earth might actually be round? That the science behind it might actually be good, and make sense once you fully understand it? That maybe you should keep your mind open to the possibility instead of immediately dismissing everything as a fake, a lie, or CGI?
